Couponing doesn’t mean cutting back on the things you use or cutting back on the things you want. It DOES mean buying everything you normally buy at a greatly reduced price (sometimes even FREE!) plus having more things on hand for less money than you spend now. It also means getting a few goodies for yourself at rock bottom prices! You’ll never feel deprived or short-changed like you can sometimes feel when you put yourself on a strict budget. So get more for your money, still buy for yourself, and keep more money in the bank along the way!

*Changing the way you think about shopping!

First you need to change the way you think about shopping. When you run out of something you put it on your grocery list, run out to get it, and overspend. Instead think of buying the items you most commonly use ahead of time. I’m not talking about hoarding a huge stash of goods in your home. I’m talking about having a few extra items on hand. That way next time you run out of an item it’s right there! This way of thinking also allows you to stock up on these goods when they are at their lowest prices. This method will save you a TON of money on your monthly shopping.
